Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar Airport or Jammu Railway Station – Transfer to Pahalgam

Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, our representative will greet you for a transfer to Pahalgam. Alternatively, if arriving at Jammu Railway Station or Airport, you will be driven to Pahalgam. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before your overnight stay.

Day 2: Pahalgam - Chandanwari - Sheshnag

Depart from Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds, towards Chandanwari, the perfect starting point for many treks. At an altitude of 2,896 meters, Chandanwari is a serene valley where the Sheshnag and Astanmarg streams converge. Begin your trek of approximately 13 km to Sheshnag (3,576 meters), ascending through the Pissu Ghati to reach the picturesque Sheshnag Lake, known for its brisk winds. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in tents at Sheshnag.

Day 3: Sheshnag - Panchtarni - Amarnath - Panchtarni

Begin your trek from Sheshnag to Panchtarni (3,657 meters), passing through Mahagunas Pass (3,200 meters). The trail continues with a gentle walk to Panchtarni, followed by a 6 km trek to the Amarnath cave. Here, you can take a dip in the icy waters of the Amarnath stream outside the cave. Inside, marvel at the serene setting featuring three massive Lingams symbolizing Lord Shiva, Parvati, and Ganesh. After your visit, trek back to Panchtarni for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: Panchtarni – Baltal

Early in the morning, set off for the Amarnath Holy cave (3,953 meters) to witness the Ice Lingam, a sacred site for Hindus that attracts thousands of pilgrims during the full moon day. After visiting the cave, descend steeply to Baltal, which takes about 4 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Paradise Camping, Baltal.

Day 5: Baltal – Srinagar

In the morning, drive to Srinagar. On the way, you may visit Manasbal Lake and Kheer Bhawani Temple (additional cost) or proceed directly to Srinagar. Enjoy your overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.

After breakfast, drive to the airport for your onward journey.
